Mr. Desmond Chan, Imageologist™ B.Bus (Monash), MBA (Edinburgh), AICI, CIP, CPBA, CPVA, CAIA, CTRI, CPAC, CSL, CPA(Aust.),CPA, an expert in Holistic Image (Dr. Knudsen & Desmond Multi-Dimensional Approach® since 2001) the only one Image expert in HK China at international Certified Image Professional level (AICI, CIP), a pioneer one in Asia and an International Certified Analyst in Temperament, Behavior, Attitudes and Axiological Values who has worked extensively in the United States, Australia and Asia.

Under the mentorship of Dr. Joyce M. Knudsen, the first AICI, CIM, Desmond received the Jane Segerstrom Award from the Association of Image Consultants International in 2005 to honor his international contribution of the image consulting industry. He received also the “Special Man Award” and “Highest Standard Achievement Award” from the prestigious Image Research Company - The ImageMaker, Inc. in the same year.

Desmond is also the first and only one USA Sci/ART™ Certified Color Analyst and Certified Color Analyst Trainer in Asia.

With more than ten years of international lecturing and training experience at universities and professional bodies such as Monash University (Aust.), City University of Hong Kong, Lingnan University, Napier University (UK), Victorian Business College (Aust.), Curtin University (Aust.), University of Hong Kong, and CPA Australia, his originated Holistic Image Therapy has also been incorporated into Naturopath programs by naturopathic school and University.

Desmond has trained over 100 professional image consultants and color consultants for their public practice or in-house consulting and his corporate clients include listed companies, medias, banker, professional bodies and professional firms.

He was elected as the founding President of the Association of Image Consultants International – HK Chapter (2004 -2006) and has received many international awards in the industry.

I enjoy the interesting and experiential training process of The Personal Color Analysis Certified Training Program. The Analysis has theoretical background considering the three dimensions of color. It also develops clear procedures of hand and drapes tests for helping clients find out their personal color tones. The skills are easy to learn and master. Thanks Desmond, our presenter, for his sharing on Color Theories and Personal Color Analysis. He explained the concepts clearly and helped us step by step to build up our knowledge. He laid the platform to help us understand and master the skills of analysing personal color of each participant. We had lots of opportunities to ask, discuss and analyze the theories and procedures of color analysis. I, am green in the field, started from very little knowledge on it but at the end of the third training day I could master the basic color knowledge and skills of identifying the personal color tone of different participants. Good Memory of my perfection journey:

I discover my ability of color awareness is expanding. I can identify more clearly and exactly the differences between similar colors. I feel excited and contented. As an Educational Psychologist, I always share with different kinds of clients that people have multiple intelligences and we can discover and develop our potentials. I often seize opportunities to discover my hidden abilities or sometimes my weaknesses and I experience my abilities are really increasing. In this year, I expose to courses like Art Therapy, Color Analaysis, make-up and fashion, I become more sensitive in colors and artistic designs. I am very eager to develop my artistic ability because it had been long-time discouraged by my art teachers during my childhood. Thanks for my lecturers in Art Therapy and Image Consultancy who contribute a lot for my growing up journey. They add colors in my life to make it more wonderful and colourful. (17/8/2006)
