Hydrotherapy and Color Therapy

Color hydrotherapy is based on the concept that every organ in your body maintains its own unique energy vibration, and that when an organ is out of balance – for example, due to illness – the disorder can be treated through the application of the color that corresponds with this energy vibration. This is extremely effective through colored bath, as it allows you to relax while your whole body receives the benefits of your chosen color.

For best results in blood circulation, stress relief, remineralization, detoxification, and even cellulite reduction, it is recommended that the water temperature be between 90 and 95 degrees Fahrenheit (whatever is most comfortable for you within that range), and that you be able to soak in the bath for about twenty minutes with the water all the way up to your shoulders. Because the colored water fully surrounds the body, it enables you to receive the maximum healing benefits of both hydrotherapy and chromotherapy in a very simple, practical, and enjoyable way.

There are many different color bath products available today to help you to take advantage of the many benefits of a luxurious color hydrotherapy bath. These can be used every day, not just when you are feeling unwell, in order to help you to maintain and improve your body’s natural balance. It is simply a matter of relaxing in the bathtub with the right natural color therapy product, or even in a color hydrotherapy bathtub specially created and designed for the task.

Good quality color healing hydrotherapy products are organic and non-toxic, having been derived from plant pigments which are natural and non-staining. Unlike traditional bath products, proper color hydrotherapy products will contain no animal byproducts, chemicals, metals, coal, or petroleum. You can add these products to a full bathtub, a sink, or a footbath, depending on the area you’re treating, and the time you have to soak.

Even easier is the color hydrotherapy bathtub, such as the Sok chromatherapy bathtub by Kohler, which allows you to soak in a deep bath with lights that either alternate color, or hold on the color of your choice.
